      What if I pick the wrong colours?

      There aren't wrong colours. The dimensional, glossy effect comes from shading light to dark within each shape, not from which colours you choose so any combination still comes out looking finished. There's no colour by number system and no symbols to follow.

      Do I need to be good at drawing?

      No. The patterns use bold, thick lines that are hard to color outside of, and there's no wrong way to fill them in. If you can hold a marker, you can do this.
